What Color Is Your Parachute? Choosing Careers
In this class, students will begin a long journey with a scientist to answer the age-old question: “What job is right for me?” With the scientist as their guide, students will explore the possibilities and process of inventing, their interests and strengths in marketing, and inclination towards journalism. Students will encounter several different career paths with neuroscience—how our brain works to reach our goals.
Explore and work with professionalism, including what it means to be a professional and important qualities to have in any career. Join us as we practice the most critical skill in the real world: problem solving. Students will utilize several tools to solve potential real-world problems they may encounter in the future with certain solutions, preparing them for success tailored to any answer to “What do you want to be when you grow up?”
