Under the Sea
Under the Sea
Week-Long Club
Have a child who’s really a mermaid or merman at heart? Dive into history to find the first claims of merpeople existence and how they came to be. Explore water nymphs and selkies and their importance in mythology, as well as their relation to mermaids. It’s high tide that we take a look at mermaid geography - fish don’t look the same everywhere, so mermaid’s certainly don’t either! Discover how mermaids adapt to their climates as fish do, and how different they look because of it. Get ready for some hands-on activities (thank goodness we don’t need feet!) to design a tail, create some beautiful slime, and put the sea in a bottle. Join this swimming adventure, and discover merfolk and mythology like you never have before!
