Role Models: Famous People and the Essay
“Smart people learn from their mistakes. But the real sharp ones learn from the mistakes of others.” —Brandon Mull
We decide who we want to become by studying the people around us, and we learn how they became who they are through questioning. How did you become who you are? What events shaped your life? What was your most trying moment? Through interactive research and workshops, students engage in discovering people and the events that shaped how history remembers them.
