Did you know that the earth is slipping along the San Andreas fault at a rate of about 2" per year? This means that in about 15 million years Los Angeles and San Francisco will be neighbors. This is one of many cool facts our geology students will cover in our awesome Basic Geology studies. In this class, we will go over a little bit of the basics of many facets of Geology and spend time learning about plate tectonics, volcanoes, earthquakes, erosion, deposition, the rock cycle, and the differences between rocks and minerals.
