Passport to Adventure: Exploring International Traditions
“To travel is to live.” -- Hans Christian Andersen
Did you know that in Spain there is a special celebration called a quinceañera for when a young woman turns fifteen years old? Through hands-on lessons and discussions, we will learn traditions from all around the world and why these traditions are important in their various home countries. In Korea, it is tradition to bow in greeting to others, while in Spain it is tradition to kiss good friends on one cheek and then the other. Join us as we learn the importance of values, understanding, and acceptance as we travel to explore an amazing assortment of international traditions!
