Me and My Family: Familial Ties

Our families mold us into who we are, whether that family is blood-related or made up of the creative, loving individuals around us. Students dive into their family history, recording their families’ adventures and using dialogue and descriptive language to strengthen their stories.
 
Day and Time: Fridays, 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM ET
Class Duration: 4 Weeks

Recommended for: Ages 6+ / Grades 2-3

Week 1 - Who am I? Autobiographies and compound sentences.
Week 2 - Who is in my family? Simple family history and biography paragraph workshop.
Week 3 - Discovering interesting family stories; story paragraph workshop.
Week 4 - Presentations and review.
