When You're a European: France, Italy, Spain, and Germany (4 weeks)
Students hear a symphony of rich musical history and romantic languages as they slide into Europe. Explore the incredible architecture and history of Paris with a world-envied pastry in hand and pocket; tour Venice and Rome, soaking in the Sistine Chapel, Colosseum, and the Vatican; navigate the streets of Spain, discovering the incredible history of Granada and Madrid, and the countless cathedrals of Europe; and, finally, walk alongside the Berlin Wall and admire the flavorful culture and beauty of Germany. Students discover the classic beauty and alluring nature of Europe as they imagine the countries of France, Italy, Spain, and Germany.
Seeing Sand and Sun: Africa (4 weeks)
In the 15th century, Henry the Navigator, never destined for the throne, dedicated his life to the exploration of the area below Europe. There, his men discovered that the waters did not boil and fry them and that Africa was much, much larger than ever anticipated. Explore the Western edges of Africa, including Morocco, Burkina Faso, Liberia, and Mali. Follow Mansa Musa, founder of the incredible Mali Empire, as he journeys draped in gold from modern-day Mali to Mecca. Discover the Great Pyramids of Egypt and the history of the Mediterranean Sea, known as the incubator of Western civilization. Morocco’s land sea Erg Chigaga is best traveled by camel; Liberia’s Sapo National Park is best visited with a camera; Mali’s Hand of Fatima is best accompanied by a water bottle; and Burkina Faso’s Grande Mosquée de Bobo-Dioulasso is best seen with an eye of wonder and awe. All About Asia: Russia, China, and Mongolia (4 weeks)
Discover the incredible power and culture of Asia by sitting in on a ballet in Russia, walking along the Great Wall of China, and breathing in the fresh air of Mongolia. Allow yourself to be swept away by the natural beauty of Asia. Russia’s Lake Baikal and Lena Pillars, China’s Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and Mount Everest, and Mongolia’s Gobi Desert and Altai Tavn Bogd National Park are only peeks at these breathtaking countries. Fall into the majesty of Asia, and let yourself be carried away.
Embarking on a Journey East: Europe, Africa, and Asia (4 weeks)
Traverse the beauty of Europe, Africa, and Asia. Watch as art, music, architecture, and culture dance together to a weaving and colorful symphony. Discover the geographical and artistic influences of the Eastern Hemisphere, and how cultures have molded one another. Return to Venice, Berlin, Mali, Beijing, and St. Petersburg. Marvel at the accomplishments of history. Travel and get completely lost in the majesty of Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Navigating the New World: America, Canada, and Mexico (4 weeks)
In 1512, Christopher Columbus discovered a route from Europe to the Indies by going West—or did he? Students discover the mysteries and treasures of the Americas, admire the beautiful and exciting culture of Mexico, and hike in the knee-deep snow of Canada. Washington D.C., San Francisco, New York, Quebec, Ottawa, Paladin de Bellas Artes, and Chichen Itza become familiar places as students explore the Western Hemisphere.
Sights and Spice in South America: Chile and Peru (4 weeks)
Enter the colorful culture of South America, walk along the streets and beaches, and expect to hear music you nod your head to and languages as diverse–and seemingly numerous–as the pebbles on the road. Gaze at the Andes Mountains from the fascinating city of Santiago, and soak in the natural beauty of Lima, Peru. Listen to the stories of Cape Horn, known for having the most perilous waters in the world. Look out at the world from Machu Picchu. Latch onto quiet moments in the Sacred Valley. Keep your eyes open–you might miss something if you blink.
Sailing in the South Pacific: Australia, New Zealand, and Papua New Guinea (4 weeks)
Nothing compares to the culture and life met while sailing through the South Pacific. In Australia, listen to your footsteps echo through the Sydney Opera House, an architectural masterpiece of the 20th century. Dip your feet into the water of the Great Barrier Reef, stretching over 134,600 square miles and protecting over 400 types of coral. Sail into New Zealand, and cross items off your bucket list: Take the Wellington Cable Car, admire Larnach Castle, and explore the Waitangi Treaty Grounds, a protected historical site. Travel north to Papua New Guinea, scale Mount Wilhelm, and navigate Port Moresby with an artful eye and joyful heart. Remember: exploring the South Pacific requires that you keep your eyes open and your sunscreen on.

Nearly untouched until the 15th century, the Western Hemisphere exhaled life, passion, and beauty. Rediscover the New World and the South Pacific. Bask in the beauty of Canada’s Quebec, California’s San Francisco, Australia’s Great Barrier Reef, and Peru’s Ballestas Islands. Watch civilizations mold themselves, cities rise, and life flourish throughout these breath-taking countries. Step right in and get lost in the Western Hemisphere.
