Cut, Cut, CUT: Playwriting and Short Stories
“We dive not to escape life, but for life not to escape us.” —Unknown
Creative writing is among the most liberating activities of the mind. You become a character; you transport to a sanctuary; you leave what you’ve known for something you somehow know better. Through fictional challenges and with literary magic tools, students tackle building a world, character, and story. Students take with them the life-long lesson of creativity and perspective as they challenge themselves to imagine.
