Inventions Changing the World

Get ready to examine some of the most prominent inventions in human history! Why were they invented? What problems were they invented to solve? What new problems do we have today that a new invention could help with? Discover the evolution of technology systems and the underlying laws of that evolution. Explore the contradictions they were resolving and how their future development might look like.
After this class, students will:
- Understand the laws of evolution of technology systems
- Apply the nine-box method when analyzing any object
- Understand and formulate contradictions
- Pose questions to probe assumptions and investigate complex issues
- Assess assumptions in their thinking and invite alternative opinions
- Evaluate and justify the reasons behind choosing a particular problem (solving strategy)
